Our History
David Chess founded Stratford Forward in 2019, with a dream to move Stratford in a direction where neighbors were happier, homes were affordable, inclusivity prevailed, and everyone worked together to strengthen the Stratford community. On March 28, 2019, Stratford Forward became a 501(c) (3) on a mission to help a community with great potential thrive together.
One year later, the only local, digital newspaper was launched by Stratford Forward called the Stratford Crier.
Today, we remain dedicated to the vision of our founders, and continue to build upon the foundation they set.
