Who We Are

Prior to 2026, our organization was led by Dr. David Chess, whose lifelong commitment to care inspired his transition into public service. Following his election as Mayor of Stratford in late 2025, we are now expanding our team to foster community-wide civic responsibility and meaningful action.

Our board members reflect the people and families who live here. As a unified team, we are committed to connecting with our neighbors, respecting our differences, and investing in the Stratford we all know and love.

Established in 1639 along the scenic shores of Long Island Sound, Stratford, Connecticut, is a coastal gem of 52,000 residents perfectly nestled between New York and Boston. Our town carries a proud legacy in American history.
